Those are the basic rules to the games tennis and football. Now i will simplify these so if you were a child you could play and understand the game.
Football rules simplified
- There are two goals one either end of the pitch
- Two teams normall 11 side games
- There are 3 major positions in football they are goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and stricker these postions play in different areas of the pitch.
- You are not allowed to handle the ball if you do a free kick will be given against you.
- The only person to handle the ball is the goalkeeper
- You play with a circular ball, the objective is to get the ball into the goal
- If you score a goal you will get one goal, the team with the most goals at the end will win
- There is a referee who dertimes what happens throughout the game
- If you commit a foul the referee will give a free kick, you can score from free kicks
- The pitch is shaped like a rectangle, if the ball goes out behind the goal it will either be a goal kick taken by the goal keeper or a corner the referee again dertimes this.
- If the ball goes off the pitch down the sides its a throw in
- To score a goal you must kick or header the ball over the line
- Two players
- when serving you must stand opposite eachother but cross court, the person hitting the ball is the server and the person reciving is the reciver.
- You must serve from the baseline
- when you play singles you must play withing the single court which is withing the tramlines
- When serving the ball must bounce onece within the service area if it does not it will be deemed as a fault.
- If you miss the ball the opponent will win the point. The points system goes up in a strange way it goes 15, 30,40 if the score turns to 40-40 it goes to duece the first person to win the first two points wins the game. It goes up to 6 games to win the set to win the set you have to be two games clear.
- If the ball hits the net or goes beond the boundreis the person who hits the ball will loose the point.
- If the ball lands on the line its fine.
